This programme gets off to a sizzling start with Welsh saxophonist Joshua Jones performing a delicious hybrid of jazz-classical in Schulhoff’s “Hot-Sonate”. The music then travels to the hotspots of Berlin’s cabaret culture via Kurt Weill’s “Little Three Penny Music”.
