Description
The annual Hong Kong Youth Music Camp is one of the most significant summer events organised by the Music Office. About four hundred selected young musicians receive intensive music training by eminent international maestros. Two fantastic concerts feature the Camp Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Junior Chinese Orchestra, Chinese Orchestra, Junior Strings and Youth Choir to showcase an array of mesmerizing Western and Chinese Classics under the batons of Kirk Trevor (USA), Prof. Chang Jun-hwa (Korea), Yu Hsin-yi (Taipei), Liu Chiang-pin (Taipei), Prof. Romans Vanags (Latvia) and Dr. Yu Ka-wai (USA).
