Hong Kong Dance Awards 2015 Gala Performance
Since 1999, the Hong Kong Dance Awards have celebrated outstanding achievement in the Hong Kong dance field and recognized artists and organizations for their contribution to the development of dance in Hong Kong. Artists honoured in the past include Willy Tsao, Helen Lai, Yuri Ng, Mui Cheuk Yin, Aaron Kwok, and Jackie Chan.
HKDA is delighted to welcome David Liu, former Olympic figure-skater and internationally renowned choreographer, as Artistic Director for this year’s Gala. The Gala gives dance lovers a unique opportunity to see performances by many of Hong Kong’s leading dance artists in the same evening. This year these include The Hong Kong Ballet, Hong Kong Dance Company, and City Contemporary Dance Company, as well as the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. The performance is generously sponsored by the Leisure and Culture Services Department.
