Avoiding interference from secular world and entering a clear state is a way to return the homeland of cultural spirits, and also the cultural consciousness that we need in this age. The main themes of Feng Wei’s oil paintings include the shimmering lake, pagoda’s reflection and old valley, which present his yearnings for soul and concernfor spirits.
