Despite the Covid situation, we are very pleased that close to 480 people have visited our Heart to Heart Art Exhibition for Charity. Thanks to all the kind people, more than 50% of our artwork donated for fund raising purposes were sold. Working with the 333 Learning Companion Leadership Program, we will be able to use the funds we raised to provide support towards the academic assistance and whole-person development of 900 children of underprivileged families.
While the traditional and contemporary artwork featured have provided artistic pleasure and stimulated imagination of visitors, we have discovered other benefits our Exhibition has provided. Some visitors were so moved, they have decided on the spot that they would take up painting/calligraphy lessons. Children have used the traditional calligraphy as a character recognizing exercise. Old people happily pointed out the flowers and the vegetables in the paintings. Serendipity has done its part in contributing to society through art.
