Description

The Six Realms, or sometimes known as Wheel of Life, are an allegorical description of conditioned existence, or samsara, into which beings are reincarnated and reborn. The nature of one’s existence is determined by karma. Some realms seem more pleasant than others, but all are dukkha, meaning they are temporary and imperfect. In Buddism, one who needs to take the tonsure before he becomes a monk. Hair represents all the bitterness in the world. Head shaving indicates that one erases all the bitterness and affliction borne by the world.It also signifies that one is prepared to cultivate himself according to a religious doctrine with undivided attention
