Description

Description

See How the Impossible is Made Possible by Six Performers with Six Ladders!
Loads and loads of fun and surprises await!
Best Show for Children in Teatro del Mundo Award from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2004

About the programme

The ladders may be ordinary, but the performers are not. They can transform into Batman somersaulting on ladders or make flips on ladders hanging from the ceiling. In the wink of an eye, they can turn the stage into a playground, complete with a seesaw made from a ladder, a gigantic swing on which they fly… Loads and loads of fun and surprises await!

With nothing to hold on to but six ladders, they will put to use in countless ways, constantly changing their purpose and the spatial design, the characters in Fulanos interact physically and take the audience on a journey through different moods.

Love and jealousy. Indifference and curiosity. Ambition and boredom. Friendship and freedom. Hesitation, distrust, embarrassment, fear. Feelings are aroused by a choreographic succession and amalgamation of acrobatic situations. They represent real situations through the use of dance, acrobatics, acting and comedy, and of course with ladders and finding as many ways as possible to make use of these objects resulting in an highly entertaining and fun one hour performance.

Through a series of humorous scenes about daily life, this production from Argentina offers an explosive and contagious energy that exhilarates both body and mind.

What is Fulanos

’Fulanos’ means ‘anybody’ in Spanish. Characters in Fulanos are nameless and ageless; they do not belong to any time or any social class, what happens to them could just happen to anyone.
