A special series celebrating the power and magic of the human voice – Angelita Li invites vocalist friends from a variety of music backgrounds and styles to take over the Lau Bak Livehouse stage this September!
Kicking off the series on 3/9 is 劉·李·黃 LAU LI WONG – Hong Kong’s latest vocal trio formed by Rick Lau, Angelita Li, and Jennifer Wong over a shared love of vocal harmonies. While each has different musical journeys and preferences, the trio believes in the distinctive, resonating power of human voices as a blended instrument. For this debut, they will team up with Jazz pianist/composer/arranger/conductor Patrick Lui to share a variety of tunes including swinging jazz, gospel a cappella, South American hits, and big band-influenced Cantopop.
