2017 sees the 30th anniversary of the iconic video game series Final Fantasy, with its infectious music primarily written by Nobuo Uematsu. Final Fantasy: Final Symphony concert has toured Germany, the UK and Japan, and finally it comes to Hong Kong where the HK Phil will present orchestral suites in this long-awaited concert. When the album of orchestral arrangements of the music was released in 2015, it quickly hit the no. 1 spot on the iTunes Classical Charts. This concert is a crossover night of video game and classical music, which video game fans must not miss.
