Aim :
To inspire the participants to reach their full potential in performing arts
To help participants reflect on the means of building a loving family through the power of drama
Entry Requirements:
Primary Section (Any registered Primary School in Hong Kong)
Secondary Section (Any registered Secondary School in Hong Kong)
Open Category (Any amateur theatre group)
Theme: “Family．Love”
Language of Performance: English/ Cantonese/ Putonghua
Duration of Performance (Inclusive of scene transitions):
Primary Section: 10 minutes
Secondary Section: 15 minutes
Open Category: 30 minutes
Submission
Deadline: 30/1/2014
Each team is required to submit the following items:
1. Synopsis (200 words maximum)
2. List of Characters
3. Script
4. Brief description of any technical set-up (set, props and costumes)
The semi-final results will be announced on 7th February 2014 via the official website of Theatre Noir Foundation. We will be in touch with the semi-finalists individually to discuss further arrangements of the competition. You may consider your application unsuccessful if you do not hear from us by then.

A maximum of 10 teams from each section will be shortlisted to participate in the competition. Details of which are as follows:

Second Prize: $2,000
Third Prize: $1,000
Open Category (Cash prize)
First Prize: $5,000
Second Prize: $2,500
Third Prize: $1,000
Certificates will be presented to winners of the Merit Prize.
