Deborah Mannas is known for her powerful and emotive vocals, and has been performing in her birthplace, Bangalore, India, and in Hong Kong, since she was young. She’s a published poet and singer/songwriter, and her jazz-styled solo album, Deborah Inspired (2018), features songs she wrote herself and performed in collaboration with contemporary neo-soul Hong Kong band Soul Sessions. Since then she has been featured on RTHK radio shows and was the “persona” in the August/September 2018 issue of the Life on Lantau magazine. Her second album is slated for release in June this year.

The BandExpress, formed in Hong Kong under the leadership of Oliver Cura, performs covers from a variety of styles, ranging from Jazz to RnB, Funk Rock and Pop. As well as performing their own compositions, the band covers hits from great artists such as The Crusaders, Incognito, Swing Out Sister, Average White Band, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys, to name a few. The band performs all over Hong Kong at bars, weddings, corporate shows and special events.

For this show, Deborah will perform a host of covers plus a couple of her originals, done BandExpress style!
