Description

Description

A new mobile street performance initiative at the Art Park and Waterfront Promenade

Every Saturday and Sunday, between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, keep your eyes and ears peeled for our new Cycling Piano. Fitted out with a vintage upright, and carrying two young musicians, the Cycling Piano pedals around the Art Park sharing free live music and a fresh perspective on sustainable design.

Designed and created by Hong Kong upcycling artist Kevin Cheung, the one-of-a-kind tricycle incorporates a 1960s Hong Kong-made Morrison piano from Tsang Fook Piano Company, and provides a mobile stage for two up-and-coming local jazz musicians. Weather permitting, the Cycle Piano tours the park every Saturday and Sunday between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, stopping at various spots along the way. Check out the performances, enjoy the music, snap some Instagram-worthy pictures and tag our whimsical new stage-on-wheels with #CyclingPiano.
