Sunbeam Theatre had faced several life-and-death crises since opening in 1972, and witnessed the progress of Hong Kong’s historical and cultural development. The reopening of Sunbeam Theatre had generated huge reverb from the society, and the story is one of intriguing twists and turns. The first of Sunbeam’s interactive theatre, Chapters of Sunbeam Theatre charts the theatre’s dramatic escapes from collapse and demonstrates how much Hong Kong had changed in recent decades.
