Taking place just a few days before International Women’s Day, this TimeCrafters’ concert, “Celebrating Women Composers”, features a collection of wonderful works by incredible women composers through the centuries. From music by partners of famed male composers to female composers making a name for themselves with their unique musical language, the concert is not only a reminder of women’s right to express themselves and be heard, but also a grateful dedication to all those heroines who played a significant yet relatively unsung role in the history of classical music.
