Description
Prospect Theatre’s annual Playwright Scheme will again showcase writers’ new works when it launches the 2015 edition in November. The scheme is co-ordinated by Poon Wai-sum, with 22 playwrights staging performances based on their own work.
The playwrights are theatre practitioners including experienced actors, creative directors and renowned writers. The scheme offers opportunities for newcomers to showcase their talent. The productions form a creative mixture of stories based on daily life, offering an exciting chance for theatre audiences to experience topical issues from alternative angles.
