Beyond Borders

Description

Description

BEYOND BORDERS is a cross-cultural art exhibition featuring 30 international artists running from May 18 to May 21, 2019. It has been organized under the curatorial team, Christel Villepelet and Mabille&Chaumette . This event will be held at the prestigious Loft 22, a renowned art gallery reaching
relevant audiences.
Beyond Borders is a powerful dialogue between multi-cultural artists and between different media artworks. This exhibition brings together renowned contemporary artists from the European art scene and from the Asian world, some of the participating artists being previously displayed in famous places like Palais de Tokyo, Grand Palais …
Artists have been invited to exchange ideas related to themes of identity and belonging, internal and
external, reality and aspiration in order to raise questions about the impact of education for empowerment.
Thanks to this exhibition, we aim to offer children a broader perspective, a better future and help them cross the frontiers of their living conditions.
All artists are socially conscious partners in celebration of Children of the Mekong’s 60th anniversary and they are generously donating their time and talents. 100% of the profits will fund access to education for underprivileged children in the Philippines.
This project is supported by Le French May.
