As Usual
Visual Arts

Description
Description
Spending the first half of his life as a well-seasoned mechanician, Lau Wai Cheong started doing amateur arts after he had found a shabby Phillips bicycle. Through the restoration on that British bicycle, he was inspired by the past philosophy and wanted to portray the bygone features of old pieces once again in today’s society. From being a craftsman to an artist, he likes creating art with machinery parts and searching the purest beauty inside the most primitive metalwork. His works constantly remind us to live in the moment, to feel the innerness of the city, and to find the balance between self and the outside world.
