Description

Arirang of Mount Paetku emphasizes on appraising the human beings and the nature, as well as harmony amid mankind. The piece has been presented in the nation’s 60th anniversary as well as Expo 2010 in Shanghai. Korean in Yanbian enjoys expressing their feelings with songs and dances during festivals and farm work. Korean dance is a fine mixture of lyrical elegance and sensual valour, characterized by sword dance, drum dance and clapper dance. Their music is wonderfully melodic and tuneful with clear rhythms. Being great singers and dancers, Korean there is being acclaimed as ‘a singing and dancing tribe’.
