Modern Chinese instrumental music often incorporates ethnic and folk elements. It not only brings in various musical styles but also performance techniques. On 26 April, three young Hong Kong musicians, Chan Tin-chi (guzheng), Chan Wan-In (pipa) and Sylvia Tam (percussion), will bring to Tai Kwun a number of pieces with an exotic flavour.
