Description
Description
During the reign of Emperor Xian of Han, Shangguan Yunlong, the son of the Minister of Defence, triumphantly returns to his hometown after pacifying the south. He meets Situ Wenfeng, the daughter of the Minister of Personnel, who triumphs in pacifying the west. The two bicker and their fight is brought to the imperial court. Not knowing which side to take, Emperor Xian comes up with an idea. He grants Wenfeng the title of imperial sister and Yunlong a duke. The two is to unite in matrimony with the blessing of the Emperor. On their wedding night, the two argue again. The northern border is being invaded. Wanting to command in the battle of defence against Northern Di, Yunlong and Wenfeng contest each other’s martial skills and come to a tie. The Emperor suggests them to decide the commanding position by drawing lots. Wenfeng becomes the commander and appoints members for her troop. Yunlong rejects her appointment. As a way to punish his disobedience, Yunlong is tasked to combat with the enemies alone. He is ambushed and has no choice but to beg for rescue by writing. Receiving his letter-on-arrow, Wenfeng heads an all-women troop to save him and wins the battle at the northern border. She has an epiphany that her personal life should not interfere with her duties. Wenfeng gives all credits to Yunlong. The story comes to a happy ending.
