Eternal Charms of the Silk Road is a brand-new production about silk road cultures headed by Pro. ZHANG Jianmin from the Beijing Dance Academy and created by 12 young choreographers of Hong Kong under the supervision of highly experienced teachers.
This is a showcase of dance pieces by emerging choreographers participating in “The Dance Education Enhancement Scheme on Choreography Inheritance”. Led by the master instructor, participants learned how to put theories into the realization of dance creation with guidance and support from course instructors and the teachers of their dance troupes.
From choreographic theories to movement design, from vain ideas to substantial dance works, the participants experienced a full process of dance creation.
