A PENGUIN NAMED PILAR AND OTHER SHORT STORIES EXHIBITION

Description

Description

Following the “Daisy Fairy and the Bear: From the Beach to Wondeer” launch last Christmas, Hong Kong Arts Centre joins hands with Michelle Ling Allcock again to publish “A Penguin Named Pilar and Other Short Stories”. The project is co-presented with The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, we invited 16 talented students who come from different secondary schools to illustrate the stories. Michelle, the author, also contributed her illustration for the first time. Best yet, it is the honour of the Hong Kong Arts Centre to have Sir Yang Ti Liang, the former Chief Justice of Hong Kong, to do the drawing for the book cover, making this illustration book project more meaningful. Please grab the chance to come to the exhibition, and experience the heartwarming stories illustrated by all the artists!
