A Midsummer Night’s Broadway

Description

Description

All voices in harmony, we go together for a Broadway fantasy!

For more than a century and half, Broadway is never just a main street in New York but a synonym with musical, the art form which engages every human sense while touches millions of souls. From “The Sound of Music” to “The Phantom of the Opera” or “Grease” to “West Side Story”, these treasures do not just portray light and darkness in humanity but also narrate the love and hate of everyone, including you and me.

Hong Kong Youth Choir will include six sets of great choral musical medleys in the concert, as well as featuring our wonderful soloists in highlighting the stirring and passionate moments in each musical. As the summer heat approaches, this is the perfect time for people from kiddies to nineties to relax and enjoy the vitality of the musicals.

Program highlights:
Excerpts from popular musical works “Mamma Mia!”, “West Side Story”, “Porgy & Bess”, “Grease”, “The Sound of Music”, and selected works by Andrew Lloyd Webber
