Description
There was a time when everyone had hopes and dreams in life. What has happened since then?
Has the innocence been kept alive?
This is a story about Mr Si Dan (which means “whatever” in Cantonese) and his two daughters. Somehow, his memories have been unwrapped. Then, a time warp. Three separate dimensions collide into one entity.A Giant Cookie is a new work by director and playwright Tan Hui Lei Karrie, following her acclaimed The Labels and A Hollow Room.
“I heard that Dad was once in the navy. But, because he was always playing tricks on us and came up with all sorts of non-sense, sometimes I thought he could have just made it all up…until one day, I learned about his past. Until one day, I grew up at last. I began to develop an ability to understand him…turns out life can be that way…” says his younger daughter.
