With the resumption of fairs and exhibitions, the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA) is pleased to announce the return of UNSCHEDULED, focusing on the vitality of Hong Kong’s art scene and its role as Asia’s international art center. The second edition will be held at the former flagship store of Topshop, located in the heart of Central-Queen’s Road Central.

The format of UNSCHEDULED is different from that of traditional art exhibitions and museum exhibitions as it serves as a medium to sell and network amidst the rise of COVID-19. Featuring solo exhibitions of 15 member galleries of the Hong Kong Gallery Association, it focuses on modern and contemporary art related to Asia, and is committed to promoting creations that highlights the history of Hong Kong as a fashion retail center.

The venue is designed by BEAU Architects, who used unique and minimally invasive structural elements such as transparent curtains that serve as booth partitions and free standing walls to maintain the flow and visual connection between the spaces. The participating galleries are selected by two local curators, to create an art experience different from ordinary fairs.
