【Sonic Anchor #34 】
“Action/Reaction” is returning to HKAC MCAulay Studio!
“In short, live a healthy life and mind, and maintain body mobility by walking, jogging and moving around.”
▎Through the interaction between sound and body, Cheng Nga Yan and Larry Shuen will be reinterpreting these observations and imagination on the movement, state and reaction of people’s walking habits.
Besides some walking, there will also be a crossover performance of sound and calligraphy.
▎In collaboration with Calligrapher Eric Fung Yee Lick @fungyeelick, Sound Artist Fung Yee Sing @chungbbbbbbb (definitely not siblings) initiates a dialogue between sound and calligraphy, focusing on the state and tension between the two. Physically tied together, the movements of the two performers interfere with each other, thus presenting an audible and tangible interaction.
