As a centre celebrating both cultural heritage and creative innovation, the Xiqu Centre presents free music performances in the Atrium by a diverse line-up of professional ensembles.
On 15 and 22 May, Hong Kong New Music Ensemble will perform in the Xiqu Centre Atrium. The free programme features composer Huang Ruo’s new work “A Dust in Time”, played by a string quartet. A Hong Kong premiere performance, the 60-minute contemporary piece is a musical meditation dedicated to those affected by the pandemic.
