Robin Zebaida’s all-Schubert programme combines the composer’s most popular piano pieces with his best loved songs in exquisite piano arrangements by Liszt. Tonight’s selection includes the terrifying Erlkönig, as well as Serenade, perhaps his most memorable Lied. It ends with an electrifying arrangement for two hands of the Marche Militaire.
In a musical career which has taken him to over 100 countries, Robin Zebaida is delighted to be performing this programme in Hong Kong City Hall. SCMP praised his “exquisite elegiacal playing and fiery thunderous brilliance”.
