Youth Square and TWGHs Tuen Mun Integrated Services Centre have been organising Street Culture Festival for four consecutive years, providing a series of workshops and dance competition opportunity to youth for free. ‘Street Culture Festival 2020’ has completed successfully from 28 August to 26 October 2020. Instructed by professionals in street culture, workshops offered youth a range of basic knowledge and skills in different aspects of street culture such as street dance, hip hop and graffiti, to promote street culture and enable mutual learning among young dancers. In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, some workshops of Street Culture Festival have been held via ‘virtual’ format for the very first time, and the finale of dance competition has also been held on 18 October in Y Studio, Youth Square successfully. The whole ‘Street Culture Festival 2020’ has received enthusiastic response from youth who have joined either online or offline activities across the festival this year!
