SA+ is pleased to present , a group exhibition of iconic artists who pushed the boundary of Modern and Contemporary Art. Featuring the works of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Tom Wesselmann, YunHyongKeun, Yoshitomo Nara and the pioneer of video art Paik NamJune. The special section will showcase Paik NamJune’s iconic artworks such as monumental installation of circus-robot and a bird cage that imprisoned John Cage’s 4’33’’ piano performance. Moreover, print works that reflects Paik’s very first solo exhibition held in 1963 and photographs taken by Lim YoungKyun will bring the diverse range of artworks reflecting Paik’s living year in Germany and New York. The exhibition will offer an opportunity to glimpse various aspects of Modern and Contemporary Art and Paik NamJune’s experimental, innovative, yet playful work which profound influence on today’s art and culture.
