In their first piece of devised theatre based on Hong Kong literature,Theatre du Pif explore the world of local poet Leung Ping Kwan (Yasi)
Using the sound and movement of our time we begin to connect to Yasi’s deep sentiments about our city and explore his resilience and strength as he walks through the mists of uncertainty.
We swim along the coastline shadowing our oceanic whale She dives deep and we follow in search of sanctuary from the stormy waves A new map is drawn Our Pandora’s Box containing the city’s past, present and future is revealed Listen! Can you hear? They are the voices of our city Let us encounter one another and journey home together…
