To kick off the grand opening of the Asia Pacific Choral Summit 2019 and to welcome choral elites from around the globe, The Hong Kong Children’s Choir (HKCC) is presenting a choral concert showcasing choirs of the highest standard in Hong Kong. Highlights of the evening will include performances by HKCC and its friends: Diocesan Girls’ Junior School Choir, winner of “The Hong Kong Children’s Choir Trophy” Best Primary School Junior Choir at the 1st Hong Kong Schools Music Festival; and Yat Po Singers, the first local professional a cappella choral theatre company.
As the largest children’s choir in the world, HKCC will bring new dimensions to choral singing by collaborating with Heartgrey, National Beatbox Champion and Gordon Lee, one of the world’s foremost harmonicists.
