After extensive open rehearsals and discussions in front of a live audience on the campus of HKUST, Intimacy of Creativity 2019 – presented with out partner, the Curtis Institute of Music – culminates in two World Premiere Concerts and Preview Concerts. This World Premiere Concert 2 will feature works by Distinguished Guest Composer Jennifer Higdon, Artistic Director Bright Sheng, and three of this year’s up-and-coming Composer Fellows, Keane Southard, Kai-Young Chan, and Eugene Astapov, as well as the music of Béla Bartók.
