“Landscapes” by Mimika Theatre (UK) is non-verbal theatre set inside a beautiful white calico dome, presenting four areas of the natural world. Audiences travel from the desert to the rainforest and from under the sea to the South Pole. Using puppets, special lighting effects and an immersive sound track, the performance takes young audiences on a very special journey. Mimika Theatre’s works are always non-verbal and accessible. They exploit the power of the visual image to communicate with children for whom English is not the primary language. The Theatre has performed this hugely successful show to children in Europe, the USA, Canada, South East Asia and China. Their “Small Worlds” has toured across the world.
