Description
Mark Rothko is a renowned abstract expressionist painter of the 20th century. During the mid-50s, he accepted an invitation from the Four Seasons restaurant in New York’s Seagram Building to create a set of unique wall murals (which would become some of his greatest works). Through the time spent with his young assistant, and the heated debates between the two, an array of questions are asked and explored: the entanglement of the red and the black, the conflict between art and commerce, the impact of youth on the aged, and the meaning of existence and death.
