Description

Description

Can art thrive within business, and can business exist inside of art?
The Theatrical Face-off between Artistic Creativity and Wealth & Prestige

Ko Hon Man meets Yau Ting Fai in the ultimate acting play-off
Another introspective reflection on life after Rabbit Hole by distinguished director Fung Wai Hang
“There is only one thing I fear in life, my friend… one day the black will swallow the red.”

Mark Rothko is a renowned oil-painting artist of the 20th century New York. He accepted an invitation from the Four Seasons restaurant, known for its elegance and refined taste, to create unique, definitive wall murals that would become some of the greatest artworks of the century. He asked his young assistant Ken to make the stretcher frame and mix the paint, yet Ken repeatedly questioned Mark’s creative motives, whether his work was a form of commercial production or genuine artistic creation. In front of his assistant, who represents the mindset of a new generation of artists, Mark had to take on the ultimate challenge for himself, a challenge to his pride, status, wealth and creative believes.
