Description
Tsuen Wan was named as ‘Tsin Wan’ due to its shallow bay. The sea was threatened by the active attacks of the pirates, it was said that three hundred dollars had to be paid for crossing the bay. The Hakka people settled in Tsin Wan during mid 17th century, they made their living as farmers and fishermen. The harmonious life snaps, such a blessings for health and rain, worshipping ancestors, harvesting, rowing, dragon dancing, tapestrying…will reappear on stage, recalling the memories of the past and praying for the future.
