Blending a thrilling story, dazzling costumes and technically demanding choreography with Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score, Swan Lake has been one of the world’s most popular ballets since its 1895 première. No other ballet in the classical repertoire can rival Swan Lake for drama, romance and intrigue. Swan Lake was extremely popular; tickets sold out so fast that for the first time in its history The Hong Kong Ballet released Standing Area tickets. As a result, audience attendance was 103%.
