Madeleine Onne, Artistic Director of The Hong Kong Ballet and Shirley Loong, Director of Education and Outreach gave an overview of ballet’s evolution over time, and the important figures central to its development. The talk was complemented by video clips and dancers’ demonstrations which helped compare different styles and techniques of ballet across the centuries, giving a closer look to this artform.
