Originally written in 1957 by Tong Dik-Sang, Shade of Butterfly and Red Pear Blossom tells the unusual story of two star-crossed lovers who did not get to meet each other officially until the very last act. They were adoring pen pals when the romance started, although encounters were planned several times, Cupid would not let them have it the easy way. This lavish new production is revised and directed by Pak Suet-Sin, with Connie Chan Po-Chu and Mui Suet-See leading the illustrious cast.
