A Father’s Day Concert

Description

Description

Programme

All time favourite classical pieces includes Rossini’s La Gazza Ladra Overture, Dvořák’s Slavonic Dance no. 8, J. Strauss’s Radetzky March, J. Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus Overture& more.

To celebrate father’s day, the HK Phil’s Music Director Jaap van Zweden is going to conduct a free Father’s Day concert, filled with popular classics for the Hong Kong community as well as people with special needs, such as autism. We hope to promote a harmonious and integrated society through music.

The HK Phil’s Music Director Jaap van Zweden shares the very same passion as the orchestra for giving world-class music to those in-needs. Having a son with autism, he established, with his wife Aaltje, a foundation to support families of children with autism which uses music as a tool. The HK Phil invites everyone to the concert hall to experience the transcendent power of music.
