Description
During the Three Kingdoms era, Dong Wu general Zhou Yu is plotting the downfall of Liu Bei, the ruler of the Shu state. Luring him with the offer of his beautiful sister’s hand in marriage, Zhou hopes to draw Liu close and have him murdered.
Heeding the advice of the Shu state military strategist Kongming, Liu accepts the offer. At his wedding at the Sweet Dew Monastery, he delivers a compelling speech, winning the heart of the Queen Mother and ensuring his safety. After the wedding, Liu heads home to Shu with his new wife Sun Shangxiang. But is their happy future secured?
