Alongside his two performances at the HKAF, renowned percussionist Li Biao will be a Visiting Artist at the HKAPA’s School of Music conducting a percussion masterclass. Li is known for his vast expertise performing repertoire across genres and styles and for exploring new ways to compose and merge Eastern and Western percussion instruments in his music. Members of the Li Biao Percussion Group will also conduct a percussion ensemble masterclass. A rare opportunity to see these percussion masters coaching local budding musicians with their art of rhythm and dynamics.
