Description

Description

2nd runner-up in America’s Got Talent 2011

“Impressively conceived and executed, transforms ordinary dance into something you’ve never quite seen before!” – Matthew Murray, Talking’ Broadway

“This groundbreaking combination of storytelling, music and technology will be sure to get your heart racing!” – The Broadway Blog

“A heart-pounding, life affirming glow-in-the-dark extravaganza! The ultimate multi-generational show!” – Promenade

Through music, art, dance and the technological magic of iLuminate brings this extraordinary spectacle to stage, combining mythical elements with adventure and romance, told through dance styles which include contemporary, hip-hop, Latin and breaking, all using the power of light.

The story begins with a powerful paintbrush that can breathe inspiration into reality, Jacob’s artistic brilliance truly comes alive. Art is an escape for this shy young man and a welcome contrast to his awkwardness in social situations. In an effort to impress his girlfriend and overcome his difficulty with the crowd, Jacob makes the mistake of using his paintbrush in public, putting on a mind-blowing show that makes up for his lackluster dance moves. Unfortunately, a display of that kind of power draws the attention of the dark and dangerous Darius. Jacob and his friends set out on an adventure of risk and romance to return things to the way they should be.
