Tian Taiquan has created series of conceptual photos out of his childhood memory during Cultural Revolution in Chongqing. The artist, born in the most peculiar period in the modern history of China, is greatly attentive to social issues and hence, develops the Trilogy “Past, Present; Future”. He aims to respond and raise awareness in the society with his artworks. It is claimed as the responsibility of an artist. “Totem Recollection” highlights the most renowned “Past” series of the Trilogy.
