Description
This exhibition showcases Shen Liang’s recent important oil paintings. He is a member of the Art Group, N12, one of the most important and talented artists who was born in the 1970s.
Shen Liang’s works use photographic images; he highlighted the real existence of the image. He creates a new aesthetics style with the thickness of the paint covering up the image and pull out of the importance of the photo with his unique painting method. Shen Liang find things related to his own experience in the existing culture and find a new “discovery”.
Shen Liang was born in Liao Ning in 1976, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2003 with a master degree.
