“Xiong Lijun And Yim Tae Kyu”

Description

Description

Opera Gallery presents Asian contemporary dual exhibition by contemporary artists Xiong lijun and Yim Tae Kyu.

“We live in a time that resembles rave party and splendid glamorous stage, new media created a new generation and rapidly flung this generation behind, people are surrounded by the explosion of information, provocation, pop and common way of live where there’s no escape.” Xiong Lijun

The two illustrative and flamboyant asian painters Xiong Lijun (China) and Yim Tae Kyu (Korea) put on a fantastic showcase embarking its viewers into a fantastic world that is all too familiar.

Both artist works reflects the social and commercial condition in two different illustrative manners. On one side Xiong Lijun rides on the explosive commercial heat wave in China while on the other, Yim Tae Kyu takes a protagonist individualism approach and explore one’s inner self and their place in this labyrinth world.
