Art of Gift…Gift of Art 2010

Description

Description

Koru Contemporary Art is delighted to launch our annual Art of Gif…Gift of Art 2010 exhibition on the 20th of November 2010.

In what has become an annual event at Koru Contemporary Art we present a diverse collection of works from stock along with new works by our represented artists. All the works are in a medium to small scale and in a range of media including bronze, glass, paintings and ceramic.

Included this year is new work by New Zealand glass artist Garry Nash who has a reputation for producing beautifully formed blown glass works. Alongside the blown works will be cast glass by David Reekie and Emma Camden and wall-mounted works by Claudia Borella.

Graham Ambrose, a ceramicist, who has produced cubist style works with a lead coloured glaze and a beautiful, textural finish provide a contrast to the clever play with light and illusion of sculptural work by Neil Dawson.

Alongside this exhibition we will continue our showing of new large and medium scale Rick Swain wood and bronze sculpture .
