Description

Description

On the mountain occasionally is a proposal for action. Occasionally let yourself quiet, to let body and mind to observe and to feel the surrounding environment, to get to know the familiar yet estrange city space again, so as to relink our stories and local history together. Exhibition has two venues, exhibiting Asia Seed participated students whose age from 14-18 with their animation, photography, idea, video and objects, as well as the works and documentation of the Asia Seed study trip in Thailand and Taiwan.
In ACO, there will showcase Thai artist Arin Rungjang and Hong Kong artist Pak Sheung-chuen co-led workshop for local student’s research and observation exercise in Cycle 3. Students start from their family history, to explore the connection by chance or the inevitably related history between their family, the city and the society, in order to reveal the hidden story among the big historical narrative. On the other hand, through recording the observation, so as to capture the “happening” in daily life, in order to rethink and breakthrough one’s stereotypical impression of daily routine, identity or history, making use of the possibilities derived from chance, through art creation, practice and choices to construct new linkage between human and society.
