Description
To promote the local development of public art, the project “Art@Government Buildings 2012-13 — Fresh Vision” aims to create an artistic environment within government buildings, offering visitors and users an uplifting experience and broadening the horizons of the public at large. The project has commissioned six artists to create works of art for six government buildings located on Hong Kong Island, in Kowloon and the New Territories.
To encourage the public to get a better understanding of the project and public spaces in Hong Kong, a series of free fringe activities – including guided tours for schools, mini concerts, outdoor movie screenings and artist’s workshops – will be held at the exhibition venues. Families, children and the public of all ages are welcome to join us.
